Huquan Ecological Park, which is located one kilometer to the southwest of the seat of the Mile County, is a special leisure and amusement place run by the Honghe Investment Company. It covers an area of more than 3,000 mu and the total area of the lakes in the park is more than 1,700 mu. The design of the park is unique and splendid. In the park, there are hotels, sand beaches, tea house, swimming pools, hot spring bathing sites and various aquatic amusement items. The park is surrounded by green mountains and filled with many trees, and tourists in the park could not only enjoy the beauty of the nature but also walk on the sand beach to admire the sunset. They also could create their ideal castles and worlds with sand on the beaches beside the water or paddle a boat on the lake surface to relax themselves freely. 

The Huquan Hotel (Tel: 0873-6388888), which is located within the park, was constructed according to five-star hotel standards. It began construction in January of 2003 and was completed and put into service in May of 2007. Currently, it is applying for a five-star hotel. The total investment of the hotel was more than 300 million yuan. It is a hotel surrounded by green mountains and filled with green trees and clear lakes. The design of the hotel is distinctive and splendid. The total area of the lakes is more than 1,700 mu. The hotel has hot springs, dining halls, sand beaches and tea houses and its buildings are noble European-style buildings. It is perfect place for tourists. The hotel has four hotel buildings of the Building A, B, C, and D, 573 rooms and 963 beds. The rooms cover suites (lake suites, landscape suites and garden suites), luxurious standard rooms, luxurious single room and combined rooms. The Huquan Hotel Building A has three courtyards and each courtyard has a three-floor buildings. The Building A has 192 rooms and 328 beds in total. The Huquan Hotel Building B is a five-floor building and has 131 rooms and 211 beds in total. The Huquan Hotel Building C is a six-floor building and has 167 rooms and 258 beds in total. The Huquan Hotel Building D is a four-floor building and has 83 rooms and 166 beds in total.
