Dulong blankets are made from hemp barks, either wild or farmed. Dulong women are good at making them by twisting the hemp bark into threads and then dying with natural paints. The complicated making process of a Dulong blanket includes peeling hemp barks, warps lifting, weft insertion and battening etc, all by hand rather than machine.
