White Wolf Peak is located in the middle of Arxan City in the northeast of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, 9 kilometers to the southeast of White Wolf Town. The beautiful scenery in the district with peculiar geomorphic landscape, high hills, deep ravines and iss-cross channels, constitute a piece of exquisite work of art at the southern foot of Great Khingan.
White Wolf Peak is 1506 meters' height above sea-level. It has four distinct seasons, and is home to a rich variety of plants and animals. There is an extensive field of uncovered, grotesque rocks (approximately 200 hectares) over the peak top.
Rising sheer from the ridge, White Wolf Peak resembles a wolf crying into the sky. It offers a majestic view of the vast stretch of wooded country at Great Khingan when you climb to the top of the peak. The Taoer River flows north to south across the scenic spot.
