S ongcheng Tourist Area opens to public in Lijiang

Lijiang Songcheng Tourist Area, which is located about 6 kilometers away from Lijiang Old Town, was officially opened to the public from March 21. The tourist area has been constructed with an investment of 1 billion by Hangzhou Songcheng Tourism Development Co.

Incorporating culture and performance together, the area contains five theme parks that feature local cultural characteristics. Meandering through the area, tourists are free to stroke multitudinous historical relics laden with history, which may make them feel like traveling through the time. Historic culture and high-tech facilities integrate concordantly in the area, providing both archaic and modern entertainments to tourists.

The Lijiang Songcheng Tourist Area is one of Yunnan's key cultural projects, and has become a new operating model for various tourist areas. It includes dining, hotels, travel, shopping and entertainment. Tourists can now enjoy a one-stop travel experience in the area.

Tourists can visit five theme parks and watch ten shows in the Lijiang Songcheng Tourist Area with a through ticket. The through ticket price for the tourist area is 380 yuan per person. The through ticket is valid for two days, with which tourists can enter and exit by identifying fingerprints during the two days.--From InKunming
