Yunnan culture shown in U.N. for first time

An activity named "Sensing China" that had been held in Switzerland for 8 years will be started from August 27 to September 6 in Palace of Nations in Geneva. During this activity, various kinds of Yunnan culture will be put on stage.

It is the first time for Yunnan culture to be displayed on the stage of United Nations. A few of Yunnan's artistry skills, scenery pictures, movies, songs, dances, and snacks will be unfolded.

"We take first-class matsutakes of 10kgs to the United Nations. International officials could taste the best quality of Yunnan local matsutakes there, " Huang Xiaoge, chairman of a Yunnan wild fungi company, said.

Yunnan Hogood coffee that represents the only Chinese coffee and contains over 40 types will be also brought into the Palace of Nations. All earnings of the coffee during the activity will be used for philanthropy in Switzerland.
