Yunnan to launch more airlines for coming holidays

More airline routes is going to be added by the China Eastern Yunnan Airlines, in order to provide convenience to passengers for the forthcoming Mid-autumn Festival (on September 19) and National Day (on October 1).

The company is formulating new flight plan for the winter and spring around the corner. Airlines would be adjusted proactively, and more preferential fights would be launched.

According to statistics, the Eastern Airlines is planning to add a total of 229 flights from September 28th to October 10th , which includes 136 international flights and 48 domestic flights. The newly added international flights are mainly from Kunming to Kathmandu, Siem Reap, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Phuket and Chiang Mai. The new domestic fights are majorly to connect Tengchong with Kunming, Lijiang.

An value-based free travel option to tour around Tengchong is also marketed by the company from September 5th to 25th. If 2 person book airline tickets from Kunming, Lijiang or Xihuangbanna to Tengchong, they can enjoy a 60% discount at maximum.
