We had a English speaking local guide who did a good job of shepherding us along.
It is actually a stone forest of prehistoric Calcium deposits pushed out from the bottom of the ocean when the Indian sub continent ' crashed ' into and later became part of the Asia Continent.
Well maintained, and they also had a local romantic story of ' Ashima ' and her shepherd lover thrown in to spice up the history. That part , though, was no big deal for us Indians, bred on various romantic stories and movies !
When we came back out, another visitor said, ' I was overawed in my first visit' but later it rather loses its charm.
I can imagine, difficult to be charmed by the tall stone structure beyond a point, unless you are Obelix, of course !
