In fact, Guizhou Province is relatively less developed but transportation in the area is not as harsh as recorded on many guidebooks. Zunyi City is one of the centers of the traffic system. You can arrive in Zunyi City by rail, by bus and by taxi. Besides, you can appreciate the beautiful scenery on the way. 

1. By Rail

As one of the area's transportation hubs, Zunyi plays an important role in the northern Guizhou’s transportation. For example, the Sichuan-Guizhou railway runs through it, so it is really convenient for you to travel. Railway provide route from Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Beihai, Kunming, Chengdu and Chongqing to Zunyi. If you travel from Guangzhou, you can take the bullet train to the Hong Kong charge for about 75 or 85 RMB. Of course, it is also convenient if you wish to other cities. You just should spend 15 RMB to go to Guiyang firstly then transfer. Located in the northern part of the city, the Zunyi Railway Station is 10 minutes’ distance from the city center.

2. Taxi

It is very cheap to take a taxi during the daytime for the starting fare for taxis in Zunyi is five Yuan for three kilometers. You just spend five RMB to travel around in the city center, which is 10 Yuan at night. Despite of the taxies, you can choose the motorized tricycles in Zunyi, which is just charge 1 or 2 RMB.

3. By Bus

Zunyi is the meeting point of the national highways 210 and 326. Guiyang and Zunyi were connected by the Guiyang - Zunyi Freeway, which is about 145 kilometers. It takes 2 hours to travel between the two cities. In addition, there are express buses every 10 minutes. The ticket is different depend on the class of the bus. The mid-range buses charge 20 to 30 Yuan per person while the luxury buses charge 40 to 50 Yuan per person. You should distinguish them and choose which you want. In fact, the Zunyi – Chongqing Freeway is still under construction now. In a word, it is convenient for visitors to travel.
