A comprehensive modern transportation network that includes civil aviation, railway, highway and water transportation has been established in this autonomous region. All the important tourist zones are now accessible by high quality highway and every county has its own blacktop highway.

Civil Aviation 

The only local airport C Xingyi Airport, lying in Jushan New District and three kilometers east of Xinyi city, is only about 15 minutes away from downtown by car. The small airport only offers the flights between Shenzhen and Xinyi as well as between Guiyang and Xinyi. As to the flight schedule, please dial 160 for detail. 

Railway 

The main railway that links Qianxinan and other cities of China is the Nankun Railway (from Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province). The 874 kilometers long Nankun Railway has 88 train stations and 180 kilometers mileage in Quianxinan. There are 20 train stations in Xinyi and Anlong, among which, Weishe Station of Xinyi is a key connecting point of the rail network in southwest China.

Lying in the Jiaoding Development Zone, the Xinyi train station is about 10 kilometers from downtown and from here one can also ride buses to many other cities. For instance, one can go to Nanning, Zhanjing and Guangzhou in the east, to the seaports of Pingxiang, Beihai, Fangchen and Qingzhou in the south, to inner Sichuan Province via the Chenkun (Chendu- Kunming) Raiway in the west and to Guiyang and Chongqing via the Guikun (Guiyang- Kunming) Railway in the north. 

Highway 

National Highway No. 324 passes through Xinyi, Anlong and Ceheng. Taking the highway from Xinyi, one can get to Kunming, the Stone Forest and Luoping of Yunnan province in the west; to Baise and Nanning of Guangxi in the east. The Guiyang Long Distance Bus Station (No.32 Yananxi Road) has shuttle bus to Xinyi every day and the whole distance is about 389 kilometers.

From here one can travel to major cities of the province and all the villages and towns of Qianxinan such as Anlong, Xinren, Zhenfeng and Puan etc.

From here one there is a night shuttle bus to Sichuan, Guangzhou, Nannin and Kunming as well as a long distance bus to Guiyang and Anshun etc.

Public Bus

There are quite few public bus services in Xinyi since it is a small city. The bus fare is one Yuan per person. It is not a good idea for the visitors to take the public bus because there are no bus stop signs along the route and only the locals know where to get on and get off.

Taxi

In this small city almost everywhere can be reached on foot or by taxi. The starting rate for taxi in the daytime is three Yuan and 1.2 Yuan per kilometer for further tour. To any destination inside the city, three Yuan in the daytime and five Yuan at night will be enough for Taxi.
