You'll begin your journey to the diverse and captivating province of Yunnan from the capital city, Kunming. Upon arrival at the Kunming International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to the hotel.
You will take a leisurely stroll along the Green Lake, a charming area of teahouses and small boutiques selling handicrafts and beautiful local paintings. If time permits, you will have a Kunming city tour. Enjoy welcoming dinner of Yunnan Flavouring food with crossing Bridge Rice Noodle and Steam Pot Chicken/Qiguoji.

You will drive 86 km to the Stone Forest. An old local saying says that 'If you have visited Kunming without seeing the Stone Forest, you have wasted your time.' Truly, the Stone Forest is one of the most important attractions of Yunnan. After lunch drive back Kunming to visit the Guandu Ancient Town which is a famous historical & cultural town in Kunming; it keeps the main architectural style of Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties.
After dinner, you will have an option to enjoy the large-scale dance drama "Dynamic Yunnan" which has been an outstanding innovation on the Chinese stage in recent years directed by Yang Liping. Primitive, unsophisticated folk dances and a fresh artistic concept converge in the programme, giving audiences a unique "Yunnan Impression." Sixty-two drums and 120 masks of strong ethnic characteristics are incorporated in the performance.
-- The Stone Forest is in Shilin Yi Nationality Autonomous County, which is about 120 kilometers from Kunming and requires only a three-hour drive. It covers an area of 400 square kilometers (96,000 acres) and includes both large and small stone forests, as well as many other scenic spots. The Stone Forest has unique karst topography which is one of the best of its kind within China. There are six scenic spots in the Stone Forest: the Greater Stone Forest, the Lesser Stone Forest, the Naigu Stone Forest, the Zhiyun Cave, the Long Lake, the Da Dieshui Waterfall and the Qifeng Cave.
-- --Guandu Ancient town is of long history, it is the birth place of Dian Culture. As early as Nanzhao Dali period, it was a big town and hub of the east bank of Dian. It was inhabited 4000 years ago. It has a ferry in Song Dynasty, and many official boats stopped at the ferry, got out of the boat and rode a horse or sit in the litter to get into Kunming. So it got its name “Guandu” (Guan Means official, Du means Ferry). In Ming and Qing Dynasty, it became a developed business and handicraft center.

Take the morning flight to Shangri-La, you'll visit the Ganden Sumtseling Monastery, the largest Tibetan monastery in Yunnan. The Songzanlin Monastery is often called the little Potala Palace because of its traditional Tibetan architectural style. In 1679 the fifth Dalai Lama chose the monastery’s location by divination and it quickly became the most important Tibetan Buddhist temple in Yunnan.
And lunch you'll go and visit the tranquil Bita Lake & Shudu Lake located in Pudacuo National Park 30KM away from the downtown. Pudacuo qualifies as a natural wonderland according to any standard. It contains endemic species of fish found no where else in the world, rare and beautiful orchids, black-necked cranes, and taxus yunnanensis, a yew whose extracts are indispensable to the creation of many cancer-treating drugs. Nestled in the mountains of Southwest China, the park is an integral part of the Three Parallel Rivers Scenic Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Chinas most popular tourist destinations.
Walk around Dukezong Ancient Town in the late afternoon; climb up to the top of Guishan Hill and visit the largerst prayer whell of the world as well as the panoramic view of Shangri-La and Dukezong Ancient Town. Taste the butter oil and Tibetan snack with Tibetan dance and song in a Tibetan family.

From Shangri-La, you'll drive about 100KM to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. With 34 rapids of the Yangtze River, it is called the Jinsha in this area because you can find gold in the river. Afternoon, you'll head for Shangri La, the former Zhongdian. Upon arrival in Shangri La, you will have entered the Tibetan cultural area and a landscape of barley fields and yaks scattered in the valleys.
After lunch continue the driving 50KM more to visit the First Bend on the Yangtze River with imposing gorge scenery, and the Iron Chain Bridge in the Stone Drum town. The town of Stone Drum got its name from a large, cylindrical, marble tablet shaped like a drum. The scenery is magnificent as the road running through the Lijiang valley which is filled with wheat fields and drying haystacks.
Drive 60KM more to Lijiang. Explore Lijiang Ancient Town at night. After dinner, you will have an option to attend the Naxi Orchestral and Show in Lijiang Ancient Town.

Enjoy the sunrise of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the early morning, then drive about 30KM to Ganhaizi Meadow(3100M), from Ganhaizi Meadow Parking Lot, you will change the sightseeing bus to take the chairlift for visiting the Yak Meadow(3700M), Spruce Meadow(3200M) or Glacier Park(4506M). The cableway will be arranged according to the weather condition and your request.
On the way back, take a visit to visit Baishui River or White Water River, which is well-known as the "Little Jiuzhaigou". The water of Baishuihe River is from the Glacier Park of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain,so that it is extremely clean and crystal. You will have an option to enjoy the Impression Lijiang Ethnic Show directed by Zhang Yimou in the outdoors theater of Ganhaizi Meadow(3100M).
In the afternoon, you'll stroll through Baisha Village, which is an enchanting traditional Yunnan village; you’ll head for the scenic Black Dragon Pool and the Dongba Museum to explore the rich Naxi minority culture.
--Jade Dragon Snow Mountain stretches a length of 35 kilometers (22 miles) and a width of 20 kilometers (13 miles). Looking from Lijiang Old Town in the south which is 15 kilometers (nine miles) away, the snow-covered and fog-enlaced mountain resembles a jade dragon lying in the clouds, hence, the name Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The highest peak named Fan Peak (Shanzidou in Chinese) which is about 5596 meters above sea level. There are three cable cars in the mountain, the fist to the Glacier Park (4500M),the second to Spruce Meadow(3200M),the third to Yak Meadow(3700M).

After breakfast, travel (200 km - 4 hrs) south on the old road to the ancient city of Dali. Dali, a historically and culturally famous city of China, is renowned for her historical interest. If this day happens to fall on a Monday you will call in at Shaping for a visit to the colorful Bai market.
Before Dali Ancient Town, you will take a small boat to visit Erhai Lake,which is the largest highland lake next to Dianchi and one of the seven biggest fresh water lakes in China. It means, 'sea shaped like an ear', in Chinese. Implying that the lake is ear shaped and as large as a sea, hence it was so named.
After landing, visit Xizhou Ancient Town to fully appreciate Bai-style architecture, taste their fragrant three-course tea and explore their distinctive culture. Drive 10 KM more to visit Zhoucheng Town, where you will experience how Bai people make the Tie-Dyed Cloth in the work shop. You will be free in Dali Ancient Town and explore the local ethnic life in the late afternoon as well as enjoy the nice drinking in the Foreigner Street.

History of Dali Ancient Town can be dates back to 1382 during the Ming Dynasty and it has been listed among the top historic cities of China.The town's layout was uniform, with five main streets from south to north and eight main streets from east to west, while marketplaces were neatly arranged within the town, which has remained unchanged to this date. Besides the Bai houses, the houses with gray-green roof tiles, peculiar workshops, temples, schools and churches with antique flavor are scattered.

In the morning, you will visit the Three Pagodas in Chongshen Temple, which is a typical historical symbol of Yunnan. It is also one of the oldest sublime architecture in South China. Walk around Dali Ancient Town and climb to the City Wall where you can have a panoramic view of the Dali Ancient Town and Erhai Lake.
After lunch, drive about 3 hours to Baoshan City. You will stop and have a nice view of the upper reach of Lancang-Mekong River on the way. Arrive in Baoshan and visit Taibao Mountain Park behind Baoshan City with Buddhist & Taoist Temples, people here have the mixed religions, Buddhist and Taoist temples are just next door to each other, and they stay in harmony. Visit the Jade Emperor Pavilion (Yuhuang Ge in Chinese), located at the east foot of Taibao Mountain in western Baoshan, YuchuangGe joins with Huizhen Tower, Cuiwei Tower(Yufo Temole), Zaojun Tower, Chanhua Tower, Yuanjue Palace, Laojun Palace and Kui Ge, making a large architectural complex.YuhuangGe got its name from the Yuhuang God or Jade Emperor God in Taoism, it was named Pilu Ge in the beginning, which was a Buddhist temple.
--Boshan City is situated in the southwest of Yunnan Province, bordered by Burma in the south and northwest. Within the province, it neighbors Lincang Region in the east, Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture in the northeast and Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture in the southwest. Baoshan is nearly 500 kilometers (310 miles) from Kunming.
When you arrive in Tengchong, you will walk around Heshun Old Town; “Heshun” means peace and harmony. You could walk leisurely around the historical old town, built in earlier days by overseas Chinese as a location for their retirement. The remaining old town is a very beautiful place with many ornamental structures such as pavilions, memorial halls, archways, and balustrades, and also with lotus ponds and outlands with many birds. The library in this town is worth mentioning-set up in 1924, it possesses over 60,000 volumes of books, many of which are rare editions of ancient works.

You will enjoy the Lisu Ethnic Show and Lisu Family visiting in Jade Spring Garden at night. You can dance and sing with Lisu ethnic people as well have some snacks.

Visit Liafeng Mountain National Forest Park in the early morning, climb up to the half mountain, pay a visit to Laifeng Temple bult in Tang dynasty; Climb to the top of the mountain, visit Wenbi Pagoda and the panoramic view of Dianyue Town of Tengchong County.
Visit the Cemetery of World War II and Dieshuihe Waterfall Park in the town, then drive to Beihai Wetland Park, you will take a small boat to the lake for a nice view. After lunch, drive back to Tengchong, and visit Rehai hot spring Park.. You will have an option to enjoy the hot spring in the park.
--Tengchong is one of China's three major geothermal areas, known as "Land Abounding in Geothermal Resources". There are plenty of springs of hot water and hot vapour, called "Hot Sea". There are quite a number of hot fields as well. Tengchong is a resort where people can travel, take a bath and have medical treatment. The Hot Sea, with an area of 9 square kilometers, lies 20 kilometers away southwest of the county seat and in the center of the geothermal area.
There are over 80 springs of hot water and hot vapour, of which there are 14 spring whose temperature reaches 90¡ãC. The spring can be regarded as a rarity as far as their number and geothermal energy are concerned. The most magnificent view is the boiling pool with a temperature of 97¡ãC, so it is called "the Big Boiling Pot" by the local people. There are dozens of big springs of vapour with a temperature of 94¡ãC at the mouths of the springs, where you can steam food.

You will have a nice driving from Tengchong to Yingjiang County via Lianghe County; visit the Jade Carving Workshop, Bapai Huge Spring, Dai ethnic Village in Hehua Town. After that you will drive to Lianghe County and visit Xuanfu Former Chieftain Office at Nandian Town. You will have lunch in Lianghe, then drive to Yingjiang County, visit Dayingjiang River which is the upper reach of the Irrawaddy River. When you arrive in Jiucheng Town, you will visit some Dai villages in Yingjiang Basin, Dai ethnic farmland, some big banyan trees as well.
Arrive in Yingjiang County, pay a visit to Yunyan Burmese Pagoda and the big banyan trees in Yunyan Mountain where you can have a panoramic view of Dayingjiang-Irrawaddy River.
You will have a relax night in New Land Bar at the bank of Yinghu Lake in the centre of Yingjiang, fresh Mango juice is available to drink in the bar with a nice night view. Also you can enjoy the modem dance with local people in the square, it happens every night.

You will have a exciting day today.You will have the chance to enjoy the Dai people's Bamboo Floating along the Dayingjiang-Irrawaddy River. You will enjoy the beutiful bamboo forest along the river and some Dai ethnic bamboo bridges over the Dayingjiang River. After 4 hours floating to Mangyun Town, then throw the bamboo rafts away. After having lunch in Manyun Town, you drive to visit some original Dai and Jingpo villages. Enjoy the local life with the dance and singing of local people. You will visit the local ethnic school and exchange with the ethnic students. If you prepare some gifts for the students, it will be better.
In the afternoon, visit Kaibangya Lake, or Thousands of Islands Lake which is located 40KM away from Pingyuan Town.Kaibangya means the land in valley in Jingpo ethnic language. In 1993, China and Malaysia had a good cooperation and built the hydro power plant in the valley, the dam becomes a nice lake.

After breakfast, you will drive to Longchuan County via Nongzhang Town, and Mangxian Town and Husa Town. Visit Husa Mountain and drive along the Husa River which is the tributary of Dayingjiang River. You will drive to the remote villages on a dead-end road in Husa Town, visit Husa Temple and the Husa Knife factory, if you are lucky, you will see hundreds of buffloes in Husa Basin.
After Husa Town, you will drive up to Longchuan mountain, and then down to Zhangfeng Town in Longchuan County. You will visit Guangshan Jingpo ethnic village, Jingpo Ethinc Square, the Golden Pagoda of Dai People. At last drive to Zhangfeng Border between Myanmar and China, visit the local market in the border.
Enjoy the ethnic dance and singing bonfire with Jingpo Ethnic people in Zhangfeng Town at night.

--Husa is an Achang Autonomous Town of Longchuan County. "Husa Knife," a long-famed handicraft of the Achang ethnic group, gets its name because the Achang mainly inhabit Husa Town of Longchuan County in Southwest China's Yunnan Province. This sort of knife is well-forged and elaborately made, and very sharp, tensile, durable. Sheaths made of wood, leather, silver and other materials are extremely exquisite, too.

Drive about 30Km to Ruili City, after checking, drive to visit Nongdao Town, visit Dadenghan Dai ethnic village, Dadenghan Temple, the King of Banyan Tree, Hansa Village, Hansa Temple. After lunch, drive back to Ruili and visit Jiele Golden Pagoda, Jiegao Border, and the border market.
--Capital of the subtropical frontier county of Ruili, she lies on the east bank of the golden Ruili River, Whence comes her name. People call Ruili "the foggy town", in the wintertime, she wakes up under a blanket of fog that she only sheds an hour or two after midday to welcome the sun.
Ruili is a beautiful land covered by green subtropical rain forest, dotted with big Banyan trees, each one looking like a forest. Buddhist temples can be seen everywhere in this city. The most famous temple is Jiele Golden Temple composed of 17 ring - shaped towers. The major tower is 36 meters high, surrounded by the other 16 towers that are smaller in size and height. Some outdoor scenes of the famous TV program " Journey to the West " were taken here.
Abounding in gems, Ruili has been a scene of jewelry trade since ancient time. Jiexiang, as it is called in Thai language, means “street of gems” in Chinese. The gem prospecting area on the Nangu River, teeming with rubies and sapphires, is the only gem prospecting site in the whole country that opens to tourists at present.

In the morning, you will ride to Wanding, visit One Banyan Tree Forest and Wanding Border, and then drive to Huihuan for the Ruili River cruise from Huihuan to Wanding Bridge. Ruili River is the tributary of Irrawaddy River, you will cruise about 15KM along the Ruili River.The floating of Ruili River will be arranged according to the water level, if the water level is too low, you will give up the floating. Cross the Wanding Bridge, you will visit Moli Tropical Rain Forest and Waterfall. Moli Tropical Rainforest Eco-tourism Area of Ruili was assessed as the state Grade 4A scenic spot. In China, a very much similar scenic spot, the Zhangjiajie in Hunan has already been famous, while concealed the Moli Jade Valley has been.
After the cruise, drive to Luxi City, the capital city of Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, you will ride around Luxi city to visit Dai Style Buddhist architecture, the Tree-Wrapped-Pagoda and Wuyun Temple, the Menghuan Grand Pagoda, the Peacock Lake, Mengba Naxi Rare Park and Mangshi Plaza.
--Moli Tropical Rainforest Eco-tourism Area is in Luxi city, the area between Ruili City and Longchuan County, 5 kilometers to the Northeast of the Wanding Bridge. "Moli" is a word of Dai language, meaning "a beautiful waterfall"; The ancients called it "Zhaduo" in Dai language, meaning "Blind-Canyon"; "Jietuo" in Burmese language; and “Badong” in Bali language or commonly known as "Buddha’s footprints." Its fame comes from Buddhist classics. Moli is a piece of land surrounded by mountains, which has an area of nearly 10 mu. Walking 20 or 30 meters through the door, you see a hot spring pool, stagnant water, clear to see the bottom, moderate temperature. This is hearsay then the wild elephants built baths for the Buddha.
