Kunming to Dali

It is convenient to travel from Kunming to Dali, because the two cities are connected by a high grade highway, and vehicles commute between them for 24 hours a day. It takes six hours to reach Dali this way. Ticket prices vary according to the mode of travel, but normally they should fall between the range of 100 and 150 yuan.

Dali to Xiangyun

Long distance bus service to Xiangyun runs every 15-30 mins from 7：15 to 17:45, the cost of the ticket is ￥15 and it takes about 1 hours to arrive inXiangyun(depending on traffic, road condition, and stops along the way).

Kunming to Dali

Getting to Xiangyun by train is also convenient. Trains run only to and from Kunming,and it will pass by Xiangyun.There are 3 trains daily and running time is about seven to nine hours. The earliest train leaves from Kunming at about 10:02 and the other 2 all run at noon from 14:35 to 16:00. The tickets are only sold in the reception center. Normally the prices should fall between the range of 53 and 150 yuan.
