Huaping Overview

地理位置：

华坪县，隶属于云南省丽江市，位于云南省西北部的金沙江中段北岸，地理坐标为北纬26°21'-26°58' , 东经100°59'-101°31'。东接四川省攀枝花市，南望滇中腹地楚雄，西通丽江，北与宁蒗县泸沽湖毗邻。华坪县地势西北高、东南低，全县平均海拔1160米，属于典型的南亚热带低热河谷气候。

行政区划分：

华坪县辖4个镇、4个民族乡。

民族：

华坪县有汉、傈僳、彝、傣、苗、回、纳西等民族，少数民族人口占31%。
