地理位置：

玉湖村隶属于云南省丽江市玉龙纳西族自治县白沙乡，属于半山区。位于白沙乡北边，距离村委会1公里，距离白沙乡政府8公里。

介绍：

玉湖村是因当地的湖泊“玉湖”而得名，在纳西语中称“乌鲁可”，意为“雪山脚下”。玉湖村还因为旁边的玉龙山而有个汉族名字“雪嵩村”。国土面积有57889亩，海拔3200米，年平均气温8.9℃，年降水量935.8毫米，适宜种植玉米、蔓菁等农作物。有耕地 1849亩，其中人均耕地2.89亩;有林地24154亩。
