By Air:
Jiuzhaigou Huanglong Airport located at the northeast of Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture. In order to provide convenience to passengers to visit other places in Aba, the best way is to get to Chengdu at first by air or train and then start from Chadianzi Station or New South Gate Passenger Depot in Chengdu to get to every town in Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture.
By Train: There is not any train station in Aba currently.
By Bus:
Inside Aba Prefecture, the road traffic net has already ready, which takes No.213, No.317 National Highway and other provincial roads and district roads as main skeleton. And the 13 prefectures under Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture and famous scenery areas are reachable currently. The scheduled bus operates every day from Chadianzi Station or New South Gate Passenger Depot in Chengdu to get to every town in Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture.
Songpan transportation
There are two ways for your choice.
A:By land. You can take the bus to Songpan at Chengdu chadianzi bus station every day from 6:30 to 7:30, buses leave for every half hour. It takes about 8 hours to get there and costs you around 50 Yuan for this ride.
B: By air. First, you should take the airplane at Chengdu Shuangliu Internationl Airport, after 40 minutes flying you will land at Jiuzhai-Huanglong Airport and then you can take the airport bus there to Songpan, it is only about 30 km and takes approximately half an hour. Usually, the flight tickets are very hot during the high travel season and no discount at all, so you had better book the tickets at least a week before your trip.
