Tongren Railway Station is located at the northeast corner of the city near the Tongren Normal School and about 2 kilometers (about 1.24 miles) away from the city center. Public bus No.7, 4 will take you to the railway station.
Another station called Yuping Railway Station is located at Pingxi Town of Yuping Dong Autonomous County and is not far from Tongren Railway Station. Tourist can get off the train at this station and then go to Tongren City by coach.
