Nanhua County (南华县) is located in Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan province, China.It is situated in the west part of Chuxiong.Nanhua County boeders Mouding County to the east,Chuxiong City to the southeast,Jingdong County to the south,Midu County to the west,Xiangyun County and Yao’an County to the north.It is 33 kilometers from Chuxiong City,192kilometers from the capital of Kunming and 175kilometers from Dali.Nanhua County lies in the west of Yunnan province,which has 2343 square kilometers.It is 33 kilometers from west to east,and 71.7 kilometers from north to south. The terrain of the northwest is high, southeast low. Nanhua County is a district of hills in the northwest and mountains in the southeast,with some embankment and canyons. The highest peak is Incense temple mountain, rising to 2861.1 meters in the Longtan Mountain of Red Soil Town, and the lowest point is 963 meters in Majie county.
