Suijiang County (绥江县) is located in Zhaotong prefecture-level city in Yunnan Province, China.
Suijiang county connected with Shuifu countyin the east ,Yanjin county in the south,border on Yongshan county in the southwest,it`s bound to Jinsha river by the north ,ajacent to Pinshan county and leibo county in Sichuan province.The distance from east to west is 48.5KM,from south to north is 36 KM,total area is 882 square Kilometers,total population is 153091(year 2010).the local government located in Zhongcheng town .Suijiang county is located in the most northern part of Yunnan province ,south bank of lower section of Jinsha river,it`s the joint part of 2 provonces(Yunnan,Sichuan),three cities(Zhaotong ,Liangshan,Yibin),located between the 2 giant hydropower stations: Xiluodu,Xiangjiaba .
From Suijiang via Leshan to Chengdu 265 KM,from Yibin to Chengdu 382 KM,Chongqing 366KM,255KM away from Zhaotong ,606 KM away from Kunming ,away from Xiluodu ,Xiangjiaba 117KM and 60KM.The total area is 761 square kilometer.
Suijiang county is subtropical and warm temperate coexistant and , plateau monsoon three-dimensional climate , four seasons is not obvious, have not severe cold in winter nor hot in summer,the caracteristic is dry and wet season is clear.
