Your guide will meet and welcome you at the airport. You will then be escorted to visit the Dragon Gate on Xishan (West Hill) and Dianchi Lake.
The Dragon Gate on Xishan: Situated at Dianchi Lakeside, Xishan National Park of China stretches with wavelike range in shape of lying Buddha, so called Lying Buddha Mountain. Overlooking the hills over Dianchi Lake, Xishan looks like a full-figure beauty lying at the lakeside, so reputed the “ Sleeping Beauty”.
Dianchi Lake: Dianchi Lake, also called Kunming Lake, lies at the foot of the Western Hills in Kunming town. With a stunning landscape and an elevation of 1,885 meters (6,185 feet), it is praised as the "Sparkling Pearl Embedded in a Highland".
In the morning you will make a visit to Jiuxiang Scenic Area, which is famous for its karst caves.
Jiuxiang Scenic Area is called the village of karst caves. There are more than one hundred karst caves in JiuXiang scenic resort. It has been found that the caves in JiuXiang are the largest cave grop system with the most numerous karst caves in China. The stalactites in the caves take on many forms and shapes in different colours. Found in the caves are numerous natural bridges, valleys, rivers and waterfalls, which constitute a wonderful subterranean world.
After you will be transferred to Stone Forest where you will stay over night at Shilin Xingya Hotel.
In the morning you will make a visit to the famous Stone Forest Scenic Area. Later you will visit Seven-color Yunnan on your way back to Kunming . On your arrival back at Kunming you will go to pray at Nancheng Mosque.
Stone Forest is a notable set of karst formations located in Shilin Yi Autonomous County, Yunnan Province, approximately 120 kilometres from the provincial capital Kunming. The tall rocks seem to emanate from the ground in the manner of stalagmites, with many looking like petrified trees thereby creating the illusion of a forest made of stone. Since 2007, two parts of the site, the Naigu Stone Forest and Suogeyi Village have been UNESCO World Heritage Sites as part of the South China Karst.
Kunming Nancheng Mosque:
The Nancheng Mosque is the largest mosque in Kunming, the mosque was constructed during the Tang Dynasty and continued to be renovated and reconstructed through the Qing Dynasty. The mosque’s design reflects that of Chinese temples due to the Buddhist culture.
Today you will visit the Green Lake Park then go to pray at Zhengyi Road Mosque. You are then free for shopping at Zhengyi Road. Afterwards, you will visit the Jinbi Archway & Jinri Pavilion.
Transfer to Jinning County and visit Jinning Zheng He Memorial in the afternoon.
Green Lake Park: also called Cuihu Park, is an urban park which was created in the 17th century on the west side of the Wuhua Mountain in Kunming. It is sometimes described as a "Jade in Kunming".
Zhengyi Road: is one of the busiest walking street in Kunming, where you can free shopping and buy some souveniors. The Jinbi Archway & Jinri Pavillion is at the end of the Zhengyi Road.
The Jinning Zheng He Memorial:
Located in Zheng He Park, Kunyang Town of Jinning County in Yunnan Province, is one of the Chinese Celebrities Museums.
The preparation for the building's construction began in 1983 -- the 580th anniversary of the end of Zheng's great navigation. The museum was officially opened in June 1984. There are six exhibition rooms containing many pictures, models, duplicates, rubbings, etc., introducing Zheng's seven magnificent navigations. Stage properties, ship models, trappings, weapons, etc., of the Zheng He TV series are also displayed here.
Zheng He was born into a Muslim family. Zheng He was the second son of a family from Kunyang,Yunnan.He was originally born with the name Ma He.[1][6] His family were Hui(Muslim) people. He had four sisters and one older brother.
After having breakfast at your hotel, you will visit the Birds & Flower Market to select fresh flowers and local souveniors. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight.
