Heqing Overview

Geographical Location

Heqing County (鹤庆县; pinyin: Hèqìng Xiàn) is a county in the Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture located in southern Yunnan Province, China.The whole city covers an area of 2395 square kilometers and about 141 kilometers away from Dali City and 449 kilometers away from Kunming.

Introduction

There is a famous village, Xinhua village in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province. Xinhua village is located in the northwest of Heqing county, at the foot of Fenghuang mountain. houses, folks, ethnic arts and crafts production are made of this Bai village. In the village, Heilong pond is in the crystal clear water, in which there are little of white Begonia and the ducks swim in sometimes. when the wind stops, the pond is very calm with the reflection of the surrounding landscape and blue sky and white clouds. With the change of seasons, Xinhua Village, shows different views just like a roll of painting that people can enjoy the unique charm of village and lakes in the plateau.

7 towns and 2 townships in Yunlong. Towns：YunheTown(云鹤镇)、CaohaiTown(草海镇)、XintunTown(辛屯镇)、Songgui Town(松桂镇)、Xiyi Town(西邑镇)、Huangping Town(黄坪镇)、Longkaikou Town(龙开口镇)，Jidun Township(金墩乡)、Liuhe Township(六合彝族乡).
