Hecun is a typical Bai ethnic village in Binchuan County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. Most of the residences here feature the traditional Bai ethnic architectural style, namely the traditional Bai ethnic compound--one principle house, two wing rooms, and one screen wall"; and the local costumes are particularly bright with Bai ethnic characteristics. In May 2006, Hecun Village was inscribed into the first batch of intangible cultural heritage sites of Yunnan Province.
