Lianxiang Pass is located in Yaozhan Township, 19 kilometers away from the county seat of Lufeng, Chuxiong Prefecture. It is an ancient pass enjoying a history of over 300 years. Lianxiang Pass is composed of four parts: Wudaoguan (five pavilions), ancient streets, residential courtyards and Sanhua Temple. It is totally 750 meters long with 5 pavilions.
Its ancient passage, 2 meters wide, was paved with granite on which the ancient hoof prints can be seen clearly. Sanhua Temple, 200 meters away from Lianxiang Pass, consists of Zhenwu Hall, Haotian Pavilion, Wenchang Hall, Sanyuan Palace and Dafo Hall among which Wenchang Hall is the best-preserved.
