The Ancient Tea-Horse Trail (Road) Museum is also known as Dajuegong Palace, which used to be part of Chieftain Mu's mansion complex in Shuhe Town (Lijiang) in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The museum consists of 8 halls, systematically exhibiting the history and routes of the Ancient Tea-Horse Trail (Road). There are 6 frescos in the museum that are masterpieces, as Baisha Frescos do, of Ming Dynasty frescos in Yunnan Province. Dajugong Fresco, by Ma Xiaoxian in a Tang-style and with exquisite craftsmanship, has been well preserved and was listed in 1998 among the key protected relic items of Yunnan.
