Shigu Overview

地理位置：

丽江石鼓镇位于县境西部，东邻九河、龙蟠两乡，南接石头乡，西与仁和、黎明两乡相连，北与金庄乡为界。


介绍：

因镇上有一面汉白玉雕刻的鼓状石碑而得名，石碑直径15米，厚0.7米，是目前丽江所发现的年代最早的石碑之一。总面积344平方公里。镇政府所在地石鼓村离县城53公里，海拔1800米。


行政区划：

石鼓镇下辖石鼓、鲁瓦、大新11个村委会，139个村（居）民小组，总人口22532人。其中，农业人口16 813人，非农业人口1453人。男9234人，女8940人。


民族：

纳西族8268人，汉族6744人，傈僳族1832人，藏族33人，彝族283人，普米族147人，其他民族294人。
