Geographical Location
Fengqing County (凤庆县)is located in Lincang Prefecture, southwest of Yunnan, China. During the Ming Dynasty it was a frontier known as Shunning Prefecture (顺宁府). It is the ancient Po pretty place, which also named as Pullman. Fengqing County is known as the world famous "Dianhong town" and is one of the places to plant the world's native Tea. Fengqing is located in the south of the Rift Valley in western Yunnan, The highest point of the Snowy Mountains Huang Zhulin, about 3098 meters above sea level. The lowest point for Bangladesh river exit system at an elevation of 900 meters. County elevation is 1578.8 meters.
Introduction
Fengqing County covers an area of 3335 square kilometers, has jurisdiction over 15 towns, 189 villages (neighborhood) committees and the county seat of Fengshan Town. Fengqing County enjoys a mild climate, abundant sunshine, enough rain fell, wet and dry seasons, the annual average temperature of 16.5 ℃, which known as the "mountain how high, how deep the water, all season like spring,". Recently Fengqing County was selected as "2014 China happiest county-level cities" in China City Classified Advantage 2014 char of China City Competitiveness was released in Hong Kong. Fengqing County is rich in tourism resources, with Shidong Cave Temple (石洞寺景区), Fengqing Confucian Temple(凤庆文庙), Lushi old town(鲁史古镇), Wenbi tower(文笔塔景区), Anshi ethnic village(安石民族特色旅游文化村) as the representative of the scenic spots.Also profound tea culture extending unique Tea Horse Road in Lushi Town, the magnificent Qinglong Bridge(青龙桥), remarkable Xiaowan Hydropower Station (小湾水电站工程)on the Lancang River is increasingly attracting the attention of tourists from around the world .
Fengshan county town located in the Central County, about 580 kilometers away from east of Kunming in Yunnan Province, about 123 km from the Administrative Office of the Resident north of Lincang. Maximum horizontal distance is 59 km, maximum longitudinal distance is 91 km, with a total area of 3340.2 square kilometers. It is mountainous valley, only a little hilly basin Ying Pun.
Fengqing produces the black tea and Puer tea. Dianhong tea is a type of relatively high end gourmet Chinese black tea sometimes used in various tea blends and grown in Yunnan Province, China. The main difference between Dianhong and other Chinese black teas is the amount of fine leaf buds, or "golden tips," present in the dried tea. Fermented with lychee, rose and longan, Dianhong teas produces a brew that is brassy golden orange in colour with a sweet, gentle aroma and no astringency. Cheaper varieties of Dianhong produce a darker brownish brew that can be very bitter
