一根面当地人称“扯扯面”，巍山古城后所街有一家店，他家的面极滑爽，1.5元/碗。不过，老板一天只卖20斤面，卖完就走人。一般情况下，上午9:00就收摊了，所以想吃面，就要早起。
一根面在不同的场合有不同的吃法！过生日时吃一根面加两个蛋寓意长命百岁，一根面加三个蛋 表示千秋长寿，一根面加四个蛋祝福万寿无疆。婚嫁喜事时新郎新娘必须吃上一根长面，而且是新郎新娘分别从一根长面的两端向中间吃，直吃到嘴对嘴合二为一。寓意长长久久、百年好合！儿女出远门时，妈妈做上一根长面，祈祷儿女一路平安，一顺百顺！
巍山一根面，又称扯扯面、长寿面，是传统的巍山民间小吃。
