Liming is 120kilometers far from Lijiang, It is a nice place for people to live. the compect community of Liming is the Lisu minority. Liming is famous for Thousand Tortoise Mountain.this is another Danxia landform in China. the shape of mountain is like thousand tortoies sleeping on the top of the mountain, that's why the name came from. we need hiking 2-3 hours to visit there. it is nice place to see the sunrise and other landscapes on the Thousand Tortioes Mountain. Lisu people is very friendly for people who come here to visit. most Lisu family are living in the mountain, every week they have a local market in Hongshi street. so many Lisu people come to enjoy the market to buy goods which they need for dairly life. because many people live in the mountain area so they haven't enough land to grow many crops. when we walking around the village, we only see some tobbacco, corn, some bean.... of couse they also feed some animals.Lisu people like dancing and singing very much, during featival all the people come from villages to enjoy the featival party in the government place of liming.
