Geographical Location:

It is located about 240 km from Kunming, the provincial capital. The county has a population of approximately 280,000 and its area is 3,037 km².Shiping County is located in southeastern of Yunnan province, West of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous .its longitude is 102 ° 08 '-102 ° 43 ' ,North latitude is 23 ° 19 '-between 24 ° 06 ' .East border with Jianshui County, Honghe County, across the River in the South, West and Yuanjiang, Xinping County, adjacent to the North tonghai and eshan counties.

Introduction:

Shiping County (石屏县; pinyin: Shípíng Xiàn) is a county, in the Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in the southern part of the Yunnan province of China. Shiping County, approved in 1992 by the State Council for opening to foreigners,as county-level comprehensive reform pilot counties in Yunnan province. Shiping County, the County Government based on actual situation of Shiping County , relying on the advantage, and grasp the "resources for technology, funding-for-property rights, market for projects,to trade stocks for incremental" capital ideas, participating in international and domestic competitions.
