Women in Wenxing Township of Xuanwei City, Qujing Municipality, have inherited from old generations the embroidery making that help to demolish poverty and strive for a better life.
These women artisans drop the way they used to make embroideries before, and have introduced computer embroiderers to meet the individualised needs of customers, upgrading their products.
To date, embroidery making has created at least 1,000 jobs for locals and the products have sold well both in China and many South Asian countries.
