Daju town is a Naxi ancient town lying in the north of Yulong Autonomous County.
In the southern part of the town, there is a square-shape Square, which leads you to the famous bazaar - Sifang Street. In the bazaar, you will have the chance to perceive the "Square Bazaar" characteristic of the Naxi minority for its unique styles of bazaar and architecture.

A daily public bus links Lijiang to Daju (90km), departing at 7:30am or 1:00pm. Visitors can take one of the daily public buses back to Lijiang, for about 20 yuan. It is recommended that you reserve a seat as far in advance as possible through your guesthouse. If visitors try to go to Daju from Lijiang, they would likely be charged the fee of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, for this area belonging to the scenic spots of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.Guesthouses in Daju are concentrated in the satellite village of Xiaomidi, near the edge of the river. Two good options are the Daju Inn and the Xiaomidi Inn.
