Longxi Aristocratic Clan Manor is in Yaonan Village in Ailao Mountain of Xinping County. It was the residence of Li Ruanzhi who was the last descendent of Li Xianzhi, the chieftain named by Qianlong of Qing Dynasty. The manor consists of main architecture, garden and horse barn with a total area of 4.2 mu. The manor is representative of Xinping traditional garden architecture with rich local flavor. The architecture is solid with unique patterns and is decorated with marble-stone carvings, wood carvings, paintings and calligraphy pieces. The manor presents the history of Xinping chieftain system.
