Food in Qiaotou Town/Tiger Leaping Gorge Town

There are a lot of restaurants around Qoaotou Town,Hutiaoxia Shanzhuang(Tiger Leaping gorge Resort/虎跳峡山庄) is a very nice place to taste local food with the wonderfull view of Yangtze River and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the restaurant.

Food in Naxi Family in Zhongnuoyu Village

The closest guest house from Qiaotou, perhaps the nicest guest house along the route, with nice rooms, peaceful environment and good food. Its an easy place to stop if you don't want to do too long of a hike on the first day. If you stay here and plan to hike to the far end of the valley then you might want to stay another night along the way. This hotel is before the infamous 28 turns which is the steepest uphill portion of the trip.

Food in Tea Horse Hostel in Changsheng Village

Located after the 28 turns, nearly to the halfway point of the hike, this is a good place to stay if you don't want to keep going to the Halfway Guest House on your first night. Decent food, reasonable rooms and nice views, the Tea Horse Guest house is friendly and a nice stop for the night.

Food in Halfway Guesthouse in Bendiwan Village 

Living up to its name, this hotel is about halfway along the hike if you want to spend just one night on the road. You can also use the Tea Horse Guest House as a halfway point but its a couple house short of halfway. The hotel has a nice viewing deck and some comfortable rooms. Use a lot by hiking clubs from Korea and Japan, the dining room has lots of club flags hanging on the walls.

Food in Tina's Hostel in Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge

Located at the far end of the valley where the trail meets the road, Tina's Guest House is a large concrete hotel. It is quiet compared to other guest houses along the way with thin wood walls. Good food, nice hot showers Tina's Guest House is perched over the river at the edge of a bridge. Its a convenient place to end your trek and spend the night before carrying on with your journey the next day. Most tourist vehicles are not allowed to drive up the valley so you need to take a minibus or arrange for a local vehicle to take you back to the town of Qiaotou or further afield.
