Shuangjiang county is located along State Road 214, 104 kilometers away from the distance of Lincang, Lincang Airport 80 km, 755 km away from Kunming. Shuangjiang County land area of 2165.03 square kilometers, the Tropic of cancer across the county. Shuangjiang County high terrain in the northwest, southeast low, central valley. What to Visit

Shuangjiang Lahu, Brown and Dai Autonomous County of the territory of the many rivers, is the Lancang River, there are 106 rivers, the river flows south Meng River, a total length of 80 km, from 60 tributaries, runoff area of 184.74 square kilometers, the average annual runoff of 5.14 cubic meters / sec.  Shuangjiang County is a typical south subtropical , humid monsoon climate. The main science spots are :Shuangjiang ferry(双江渡口)Mangnuo stone censer(忙糯石刻),Shennong Temple(神农祠).

When to visit

Shuangjiang located in Lincang Prefecture, southwest of Yunnan, it enjoys hot and mild  temperature all year around. But the temperature difference between day and night , especially in spring and winter. Therefore, if you go to Shuangjiang during these two seasons, please take some warm clothes .Shuangjiang is a city for tour available all year around, however the best time to go there is from March to October. Because there are many festivals of ethnic minority group, and plenty of fruits and flowers during these month.

 How to fit in 

 It’s easier to get around in Shuangjiang  if you know some basic Mandarin, especially when ordering food, but there are a number of important points of business etiquette to remember too. Confucianism, with its attention to demeanour , harmony, and preservation of “face,” plays a central role .Meetings always begin with a handshake. Give a slight nod and don’t be too vigorous when shaking hands, it could come across as being  aggressive. Stay away from physical contact after this, including pats on the arm. Day02, Drive to Shuangjiang county for night in hostel. Suangjiang, located in the south-west of Yunnan, about 60KM to the borders.
