The Meihua Hot Spring was called the Green Jade Hot Spring in the past. Its current name came from the Meihua Village located to the east of the county seat. The average output of the spring is 26 literatures per second and the temperature of the water is between 42 and 54℃. The spring is a low-mineralized carbonate spring.
Bathing in the spring could cure the rheumatic disease. In the old days, the Sunset of Meihua Hot Spring was one of the eight famous sceneries of the Mile County. In recent years, as the Huquan Ecological Park is being constructed and developed, the magic water of the spring is also led to many sites of the park and even to the slope of a hill covered by green plants and colorful flowers. Therefore, it is also called the Slope Hot Spring.
