Luchun County is located in southern Yunnan province, southwest of Honghe Prefecture .it is very close to the Tropic of cancer. North East, Honghe and Yuanyang, Jinping respectively with the State border, Northwest of Mojiang County of Simao city, Southwest across the lixianjiang River and jiangcheng County of Simao city, South Viet Nam Socialist Republics adjacent, 153 km long border. County maximum horizontal distance of 37.5 km, maximum longitudinal distance 60 km North and South, 3096 square kilometers of the total area, the County resident da XING Zhen, 1640 meters above sea level, 462 km from the provincial capital of Kunming, 270 km from the capital of the autonomous mengzi.
