It is a Dai delicacy cooked from purple sticky rice. In Xishuangbanna where pineapples are widely grown, locals like to use pineapples to make the dish. After the rice is mixed with pork, it will be put into the pineapple that is emptied beforehand, and cooked in a steamer.
This special dish taste fragrant and sweet, and is believed to be able to moisten the lungs. It is also the favourite of visitors, especially kids.
