Guandu Old Town's temple fair starts

Yesterday, January 23rd, was December 23rd on Chinese Lunar calendar, which is known as Chinese off-year festival before formal Chinese Spring Festival.

Guandu Old Town, a famous historic scenery spot in Kunming, holds its annual temple fair.

It is said that on the temple fair, traditional food specialties, folk songs and dances, folk handicrafts, gala parties participated by the masses, and other interesting activities will be staged in succession by fair sponsors.

By report, the temple fair will last until Chinese Lantern Festival.

Tourists who are fond of enjoying authentic Chinese Spring Festival and hope to have funs during the festival could go to travel during the temple fair.

Tourists could take buses No. 169, No. 174, No. 232, No. C74 to nearby stations including Guandu Street Agency (472 meters far from the Guandu old town), Zijuncun Village (on the Caiyun North Road)(581 meters far from the town) , South Section of Guanxiaolu Road(586 meters far from the town), and Guandu Middle Road(599 meters far from the town).
