China and South Korea have reached an agreement for South Korea to return the remains of hundreds of Chinese soldiers killed during the 1950-53 Korean War, according to South Korea's Defense Ministry on Thursday.
South Korean President Park Geun-hye first made the offer when meeting with Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong in June 2013.
The remains of 425 Chinese soldiers, along with their belongings, will be returned to their families in China as soon as possible.
