On Oct 15, the film Tropic of Cancer produced by Gao Xiaosong premiered in Kunming Broadway Cinema. Li Zhiting and Huang Ling, main actors in the film, attended the premiere.
The film tells the story of a playboy and a tough girl. Its beautiful scenes present a visual feast of love. The film also contains a lot of humor.
“Bringing audiences happiness and relaxation was the whole reason we made this movie. The story comes from American writer Henry Miller’s autobiographical novel. Mile in Yunnan province, where this film was shot, is an attractive place with beautiful scenery,” said Gao Xiaosong, producer of this film.
The film presents audiences with the natural scenery of Yunnan. Also, audiences can experience the local customs, food and culture of Yunnan from this film.
Tropic of Cancer premiered in Shanghai and Guangzhou on Oct 17 and will premiere throughout the rest of China soon.(From InKunming)
