On July 29, 2014, the 12-year-old giant panda Juxiao gave birth a healthy set of triplets at Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou. The triplets are only the fourth set of panda triplets ever born through artificial breeding programs.
Panda cubs are known for having very low survival rates. These three cubs are the only complete set of panda triplets that have ever survived, which have been hailed as a new wonder of the world.
At present, these three panda cubs and their mother are all healthy and doing well.
