220,000 people visited Taiwan Famous Products Expo

High-grade product 3D dressing mirror was shown in the Taiwan Famous Products Expo.

Taiwan Famous Products Expo, which was held from August 21 to 24, received 220,000 visitors in total, according to Yunnan Taiwan Affairs Office.

During this expo, 440 Taiwan enterprises exhibited more than 20,000 products in 800 booths. High-grade products such as stroke-warning devices, smart wheelchairs that can allow the disabled to lie on their backs, 3D dressing mirrors, and some Taiwan-made cosmetics, foods were greatly welcomed by Kunming people.

In recent years, economic and trade, as well as cultural exchanges and cooperation between Taiwan and Yunnan become closer and closer. Currently, both Kunming and Lijiang open direct flights to Taiwan. 13 flights have been executed per week between Taiwan and Yunnan. In 2013, a total of 1,044 round-trip flights between the two places were carried out, transporting 132,909 travelers.

Kunming buyers who bought products in the Taiwan products expo agree with an idea that products made in Taiwan well combine factors of fashion, science and technology, and humanistic care together. This might be the reason to explain why the expo were such crowded that over 50,000 people visited the expo per day.

During the expo, purchasing amount reached 190 million U.S. Dollars. More than 90% Taiwan exhibitors expressed that they found at least one agency to sell their products in the province.
