The 14th China-Myanmar Pal Festival will kick off from October 1 to 3 during National Day Holiday, announced by Ruili government on September 16.
Over ten activities including oxcarts parade, floats parade, grapefruit grabbing competition, sepa takraw competition, water-sprinkling celebration and varied snacks tasting event will be organized during the festival.
China-Myanmar Pal Festival is an international, ethnic and participatory pageant, which has been held in Yunnan for 13 years. Up to now, it has become one of the most influential tourism festivals and the festival with the most potential to develop in Yunnan.
Ruili, as an economic and trade, cultural exchange, and a friendly exchange window to demonstrate Chinese image and communicate with Myanmar, have many advantages to host the China-Myanmar Pal Festival.
