Yunnan people had bought 46,000 down jackets directly from internet during past 30 days, according to Taobao.com, a well-known shopping website in China.

In recent days, the weather in Yunnan has gradually become cold. People buy heating equipments and down jackets in shopping malls or on internet. Economy related to coldness slowly gets warm in the market.

Continuous cold and gloomy weather in Kunming makes heating equipments become popular items in shopping malls.

"Last weekend, heating equipments' sales area was surrounded by many customers. Different from previous situations, these customers came for directly buying heating equipments but not just watching or trying to use the equipments," Electric appliance seller Ma Jifen from Xiaohuayuan branch of Suning Electric Appliances Shopping Mall said.

The same situation also emerged in Shuncheng branch of Gome Electric Appliances Shopping Mall. Sales volume of heating equipments, passenger flow volume had rose obviously in Gome mall during this cold weather period.

"Winter temperature in this year was colder than that in last year. Purchasing demand about coldness increases naturally. Sales volume of heating equipments in our mall had grown 3 to 4 times compared with the same period in last year," Suning sales man told the journalist.

On internet, sales volume of down jackets also increased evidently. Clothing market responded most sensitively on internet when weather turned to be colder and colder.

The latest data on Taobao.com website showed that selling quantity of down jackets quickly increased since the end of October. It revealed that orders' number of down jackets mounted 678.9% in chain relative ratio. Orders' number of electric radiators grew 71.4% in chain relative ratio.

A shopkeeper from Tmall.com told that he had finished deals of a type of hand warmer with customers over 60,000 times in a month on the internet.
