KUNMING, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- AirAsia, a low cost carrier, announced on Tuesday that it will launch a new route connecting Kunming of southwest China's Yunnan Province with Bangkok, Thailand's capital.
The Malaysia-based airline will use an Airbus A320 plane on the daily flight between the two cities. The price of a one-way ticket will be as low as 320 yuan (51.9 U.S. dollars) if booked online.
The flight route will be launched on Nov. 15.
AirAsia has been expanding into China since the introduction of a direct flight from Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia, to Kunming in December.
