Below the 2012 award winners are included as honorary nominees in each category. In a slight alteration to past surveys, all other establishments will be nominated by GoKunming users. Final voting for the winners will begin in a few weeks and the results will be announced at the beginning of 2014.

We have omitted a few categories from years past and added a new one to make a nice round number of ten. The five establishments receiving the most reader nominations in each category will make the final cut, joining last year's honorary nominees.
