"Any foreigner who plans to send their students to study in Chinese schools shall apply for temporary residence permits at first, and then the Education Bureau will examine and approve their applications for studying in China, " a principal of the Education Bureau said.
"We will sign agreements with those Myanmarese students' parents to ensure their safety when they study in China. Those kids who choose to study here would like to go back to Myanmar's homes one time every two weeks or every month," a Ximeng school’s teacher said.
