The tourism market of Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture has witnessed persistent overheating during the past Chinese Spring Festival holiday.
According to the tourist administration of the prefecture, over the past Spring Festival Golden Week, a total of 126,500 tourists have traveled in Jujiang, achieving a 11.85% growth compared to the same period last year. The general income of the prefecture reached 36.0375 million yuan, seeing a 12.63% growth year on year.
Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture is located in the northwest of Yunnan Province, and borders Myanmar. Nujiang River flows over the prefecture from north to south, hence its name.
The prefecture is endowed with unique ethnic features, especially the distinguished customs of Lisu people and Nu people. The population of ethnic groups occupy 92.2% of the general population there.
It also boasts its rich tourism resources, such as the Grand Canyon of Nu River(怒江大峡谷), the Tiger Leaping Gorge(虎跳峡), the primeval forest of Gaoligong Mountain(高黎贡山), etc.

Take a plane from Kunming Changshui International Airport to Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture or to Baoshan City for about 50 minutes, and then transfer to Liuku(六库), the capital city of Nujiang prefecture by bus.
