Singaporean enterprise Keppel Land plans to continue investing in Kunming

Deputy mayor of Kunming Ruan Fengbin(阮凤斌）met with Ho Cheok Kong(何卓光)，CEO of Keppel Land China(新加坡吉宝集团吉宝置业中国有限公司), a company affiliated to the large-scale Singaporean enterprise Keppel Corporation Ltd. Co., yesterday(September 23) in Kunming.

Both sides discussed about new investment in cultural tourism development, which was firstly implemented in project of Spring City Golf and Lake Resort(春城湖畔度假村）within Yangzonghai Tourist Resort（阳宗海旅游度假区）area in 1992 by the Keppel Land.

Keppel Land China, which is ranked among the "Top 10 ASEAN Companies in China" by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, has developed more than 30 projects in China’s medium and large cities from the north to the south.

Ruan wishes the Keppel Land China could take full account of Kunming's market demands and then increase investments in the city. "I hope you could provide some data that are possible to reflect Kunming’s present market demands to us," Ruan said, "With the data you provided, the municipal government may improve decision-making capacity."

Keppel Land China CEO Ho hoped that their investments in Kunming could be backed up powerfully by the government.
