Newly-couples usually celebrate weddings in some alternative ways, on limousines or even romantically on bikes, but a Yunnan couple will never forget their big day after a thirty-minute ride over the Yulong Snow Mountain in helicopter on Wednesday.

They are the first couple who held a helicopter wedding in Lijiang, and even in the province.

Many wedding companies in Kunming are capable to provide this service now.

In fact, helicopter wedding has come into vogue since 2012 in China. New couples can make vows, exchange rings high in the sky by helicopter, or take the helicopter to fetch the bride.

The cost of a helicopter wedding ranges from eighty thousands yuan to hundreds of thousands yuan.

Wedding forms are more and more diverse nowadays. For instance, a couple once held a hot-air balloon wedding in Shuhe Ancient Town(束河古镇) of Lijiang in 2009.

Nevertheless, the cost of a wedding also has surged along with the multiple of wedding forms. A survey shows that the current cost a wedding(including buying a house) in the city is 200 times of that 20 years ago.
