Anda band to play inner Mongolian music in Kunming

On a vast expanse of grassland, rings out a melodious tune played by horse head instrument and accompanied by sounds of a kind of long tone and Khoomei which are local music originated from Inner Mongolia of China......In the evenings of October 25 and 26, Kunming people will have the chance to enjoy a feast of traditional inner Mongolia music in Kunming Theatre.

Four musical artists, who come from inner Mongolia and have acquired national level music awards for their original and natural music performances in Beijing, will bring their best music works to Kunming and present live performances to local listeners.

These four musical artists still keep passion to their beloved inner Mongolian music even though all of them had learned music at a very young age. To inherit inner Mongolian music by actions and let more people to appreciate the traditional music of inner Mongolia is their common goal. Therefore, they formed the musical band "Anda".

Until now, the Anda band has played their music to America, Britain, Austria and other 30 foreign countries. In China, they have played over 50 times. Audience of different ages and with different work backgrounds, from kindergarten kids to college students, from workers to university professors, expressed their love to the band.
