Passenger trains from Kunming to Chengdu and Chongqing of the Neijiang--Liupanshui Rail Route are expected to resume service soon, according to the Kunming Railway Administration on August 22.
Neijiang--Liupanshui Railway was cut off by landslide on August 2nd. The route was preliminarily dredged on August 19.
Train K853 and K1139 that connect Chengdu and Kunming, together with Train K1050/1 and K1052/49 that connect Kunming and Chongqing, restore to normal operation by August 23. Train K854 and K1140 via Kunming and Chengdu will resume by August 24.
